Join the team! Dealicious is looking for someone experienced in Marketing, Sales, Advertising and Business Development professional to add to our Merchant Development team. A Dealicious Jack or Jacqui -of-all-trades!
Dealicious promotes local businesses to local consumers through an irresistible daily deal.
You’ll develop and grow clients in your local markets across the country by securing commitments from the coolest and best-value local businesses including restaurants, spas, outdoor adult classes, events based businesses, retailers, theatres, tourism venues and more.
Requirements:
We are looking for enthusiastic team members with a good record of successful sales or business development to join our team.
Experience in local advertising and promotions market, positive attitude and a desire to create win-win outcome for all are essential. Business development or sales experience of at 1-year is required – preferably in online advertising, direct marketing, local advertising, small business to business sales or sales to restaurants.
- Good negotiator
- Experience in business to business sales
- Great communication and phone presentation skills with the ability to sell at all decision-making levels.
- Self-motivated team player that can exceed goals and revenue expectations.
- Able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus, productivity and meeting deadlines.
- Manage client experience and lead them to the best possible outcome
- Flexible, and able to quickly adapt to new situations.
- Good knowledge of the internet as a tool and interest in social media
- Great sales skills including lead generation, follow up and chasing after sales
- Good network and contacts
- Good knowledge of city of residence (e.g. Best places to eat, shop, relax etc)
Responsibilities Include: • Sourcing and management of potential leads using multiple resources including online. • Hunting, finding and closing merchant deals via the telephone. • Assessing and negotiating potential business deals and acquiring merchant agreement • Ongoing management of merchant relationships. • Daily, weekly and monthly prospects, call numbers, sales pipeline and sales closed reporting to management • Facilitating the merchant documentation in conjunction with the production team. • Meeting monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
